Small Sided Referee Clinics
The Small Sided Referee Clinic is the basics of refereeing and is offered to individuals who are no less than 12 years of age. Once an individual is successful in passing this clinic, they are classified as a Small Sided Referee and may officiate in any match with players between U11 and U12. Our club also uses referees with this certification for games at the U8 through U10 levels in-house.
All Small Sided Games Clinics are delivered through the District and / or Club and supported by the Club Head Referee Model. VAFC offers this course in conjunction with the Vancouver Youth Soccer Association. It is normally targetted at youth players, but we also recommend it for team officials to better understand the rules of play.
Pre-requisite: Minimum 12 years old
Course Length: 8 hours (normally run as two sessions)
Course Fee: set by the host District / Club
