Registration for the 2018-2019 Season opens at 1pm on Feb 1st 2018.

Our refund policy is changing for the 2017/2018 season;
Player withdrawal after team formation and season start is disruptive to the league, District administration, the team, and other potential player applicants. Our refund policy is intended to encourage stability after team selection.

Refunds of the registration fee, less a $48 administration charge, will be available to withdrawing players as follows:

•        Divisional U11+: Prior to June 7th of the season start; and 

•        House (Under U11): Prior to September 1st  of the season start. 

Requests for refunds must be made in writing or via email to admin@vafc.ca prior to the deadlines above. There will be no refunds after the deadlines. Refunds will only be issued to the original purchaser and credit card used at registration.

House League
February 1 – June 30

Late registrants will be added to a wait list and will not be guaranteed a place on a team.

NOTE: registration for some age groups may be closed earlier if they fill up sooner than the cutoff date

Payment Policy

Payment may be made by credit card only. All payments are to be made in Canadian dollars. Financial assistance is available for those who need it (see Financial Assistance below). Your child will not be placed on a team until registration is complete. Registration is not considered complete until payment is received.

Financial Assistance

We believe that any child who wants to play soccer should be able to do so, and are able to help parents arrange creative funding solutions. Please contact the VAFC club administrator if you would like to apply for financial assistance to cover the cost of registration. admin@vafc.ca

Development

VAFC offers player development in addition to our normal soccer program. Currently we are able to to provide opportunities for players aged 7 to 14, and will be phasing in additional programs for our older players as we are able to do so. All programs provide professional coaching under the direction of Club Head Coach and Technical Director, Steve Weston. The program compliments the coaching provided by team coaches.

These sessions are open for all players wishing to improve their all-round technical ability and soccer skills. The philosophy of the program is not only to keep soccer fun, but to instil good and consistent training habits, and a good strong work ethic as well as constant ongoing skill development.

FEES

Development program fees will be assessed separately, and can also be paid online. Please see our player development page for a list of these programs.
Registrations are subject to a refundable uniform deposit of $50 per player for House League & Vancouver Girls and $100 for divisional teams.

  • $160*Year
    • *A $60 volunteer fee will be added for those who are not able to volunteer during the season. Volunteer options are offered during the registration process.
    • * Fees increase to $210 after June 30, 2018.
