21 Mar VAFC Girls Teams Qualify for BC Coastal Cup
VAFC is excited to announce that a total of eight Club teams will be playing in the BC Coastal Cup this year.
The first round takes place April 5-7th, with weekly knock-out games through to the Finals being held in Richmond on May 4-5th.
For the girls, we have:
- U18 Vancouver Representative – VAFC Blue Flames
- U17 Vancouver Representative – VAFC Vortex
- U15 Vancouver Representative – VAFC Venom (pictured above)
- U16 Wild Card – VAFC Blaze
- U13 Wild Card – VAFC Ravens

About the BC Coastal Cup
The BC Coastal Cup is the qualifying competition for the 2019 BC Youth Provincial Cup, which is being held July 4-7th.
There are actually two Cups: the Provincial ‘A’ Cup and Provincial ‘B’ Cup. The ‘A’ Cup is open to teams from the Metro Division of the BC Coastal Soccer League and the Vancouver Island Premier League; and teams from lower leagues wanting to challenge for the ‘A’ Cup.
The ‘B’ Cup entries are decided through the Lower Mainland districts, the BC Coastal Soccer League and the Vancouver Island B Cup Playdowns.
