New Player Evaluations for the Fall 2025/26 Soccer Season
At Vancouver Athletic FC, we believe in placing players in environments where they can thrive, develop, and enjoy the game. New Player Evaluations are designed to assess the skills, abilities, and potential of players who are new to VAFC, ensuring they are placed on teams that match their skill level and developmental stage. Evaluations are held at the start of the spring and fall seasons, with specific dates announced on the VAFC website and communication channels. Parents are welcome to watch but are asked to remain off the field to allow coaches to conduct evaluations effectively.
Who Are the Evaluations For?
* Players who are New to VAFC and wish to join one of our teams.
* New Players coming from another Academy, Club or moving here from another city.
* Players interested in competitive levels of play.
Post-Evaluation Placement.
Following evaluations, players will be assigned to teams, and families will be notified of their placements by email. If further discussions are needed, our coaching staff is happy to provide feedback and guidance.
