VAFC BOOKEEPER
Part Time

Our club is growing and VAFC is hiring a bookkeeper. This is a paid part-time position, suitable for a qualified CPA (or equivalent) interested in supporting VAFC’s financial administration. The bookkeeper will work closely with club staff, as well as the VAFC Treasurer. Core duties include preparing journal entries for revenue and expenses, reviewing invoices for approval and coding, supporting monthly payables and direct deposits, administrative filings, Worksafe BC, CRA and monthly board reporting. Work will be both offsite and on-site in Central/East Vancouver and a preference will be given to candidates flexible to these parameters.

Grasshoppers U3-U5 Coordinator
Head Coach

VAFC is looking for: Energetic Grasshopper Coaches to support our U3 to U5 sessions this summer.
Grasshopper Coaches are expected to support 2 to 3x ~1hr events per week, year-round, with options for expanded roles and other
more advanced coaching development in Vancouver.
The Grasshopper Coordinator and Head Coach will be responsible for development, scheduling, and implementing programming and
manage the Grasshopper Coaches. The position will work with our VAFC Operations Manager, our Register and coordinate transition to U6+ with our House Coordinator. The position will also work with your Youth Leadership Director to provide coaching opportunities for responsible U17 and U18 players. Find out more.

Field Liner
Part Time
March 1st, 2024
VAFC is looking to fill the position of grass field liner. This is a part time position that is 4 – 6 hours per week. There are approximately 20 fields that will be required to be lined every week.
What is field lining of a grass field?
Lining consists of using paint (on the field) that defines the end line, side line, goalie area of each field. The dimensions will differ between fields based on the age group playing.
Is there training involved with this position?
Training will be provided for the chosen applicant.
