The Province of British Columbia: Community Gaming Grant

VAFC relies on the British Columbia Community Gaming Grant to support the delivery of our ongoing community youth soccer program. VAFC has applied to and benefitted from Gaming Grant disbursements for more than a decade. For 2022/23 the Executive Director of the Community Gaming Grant would once again like thank our volunteer board, coaches, and managers for all the work they do. Additionally, VAFC successfully passed a random Gaming Grant Compliance Audit in 2022 and was thanked, in particular, for its “timeliness and organization of gaming records”. VAFC Sponsorship

VAFC is currently seeking sponsors for the Club, and are open to all opportunities. If you have an idea or proposal, please email us. There are many benefits to sponsorship, starting with the knowledge that you and your business are supporting grassroots youth soccer development through to high-performance soccer. Our Club is large and growing. As we strive to keep the fees affordable for all types of families, we look to our community for support in a number of areas, such as:

• Players – Hire additional technical coaches under our Technical Director to support player development; and help players overcome financial and accessibility barriers to playing soccer
.
• Coaches – Leverage our large group of volunteer coaches and enrich their knowledge and capability through professional and flexible coach training
.
• Operations – Cover operation costs such as equipment, balls, uniforms, etc.
• Organization – Acquire club management software that includes registration, players and teams management, scheduling fields and referees, and tracking scores.
