Spring Individual Player Development
Program Description: U4 – U5 (2020-2019)
The ‘Grasshoppers’ program is designed for 3 and 4 year old siblings. Physical Literacy (Agility/Balance/Coordination) is the critical component of this program and the development of Social cues.
Program Description: U6 (2018)
The ‘Grasshoppers’ program is designed for (U6) 5 year old siblings. Physical Literacy (Agility/Balance/Coordination) is the critical component of this program and the development of Social cues.
Program Description: U7 (2017)
A program for (U7) 6 year-olds looking to get started in the game of soccer and sport in general. This program is open to both Boys and Girls born in 2017 (calendar year).
The U7 group consists of a weekly 60 minute session.
The most important part of this experience is that everyone have FUN 🙂
Program Highlights:
- Staff run sessions.
- Focus on physical literacy.
- Fun, introduction to soccer.
- Fun, engaging staff coaches.
- Make new friends.
We believe that parental involvement is a key element at these age groups, parents are encouraged to support their children, especially in the U4 & U5 programs designed for younger players.
Spring Individual Player Development is open to all players regardless of experience. VAFC encourages participation from anyone interested in wanting to develop their footwork and physical literacy.
