06 Jul Canadian Championship VAFC Event
The Vancouver Whitecaps are hosting the Canadian Championship final at BC Place against Toronto FC on Tuesday, July 26th at 7:30 PM and VAFC is going! This is the Whitecaps’ first shot at a trophy in 7 years so let’s get a big crowd there to support them!
Toronto is also likely to bring Lorenzo Insigne – current Italian National Team star and former Napoli captain.
On-Field Activations at the Canadian Championship
There will be on-field opportunities for our players again. We have been able to reserve 100 spots on the procession flags for the club. The other activities listed below will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, based on the timing of when the group purchased tickets. The Cap’s are putting a ticket minimum on Player Mascots as they expect that to be a hot commodity. Full teams will have priority regarding activities, excluding the procession flags.
- Giant Jersey and Procession Flags (ages 6-11) More Info. Sign Up Here.
- Player Mascots (ages 6-11) – 80 ticket minimum as there are 22 spots, preference would be 2 teams. More info.
- Ball Retrievers (Age 13+ but we can squeeze older 12-year-olds, 8 participants). More info.
- National Flag Bearer (Age 11+, 14 participants) – Participants to arrive 1.5 hours before kickoff to rehearse. They would bring out the National Flags to the pitch, 6 on one flag and 4 each on the other 2.
- Benchwarmers (Age 7+, 12 participants). More info.
