Due to the present outbreak, all sanctioned soccer programming remains cancelled and Parks have presently closed all fields for any organised activities.

VAFC takes all direction from BC Soccer and the BC Government to when programming can commence. Restrictions, such as access to some Vancouver golf courses were lifted as of May 1, and other restrictions may be lifted by mid to late May. Some on field sanctioned activity may be allowed to occur, but this will continue to follow the guidelines of physical distancing and limitations on the number of participants and to what activity can occur (non-game play).

The CASCADIA spring league has not been cancelled and the league is still looking at a later start date, but with a reduced schedule. As any new Cascadia league dates remain uncertain, and will not fall within our initial academy start and finish dates, (plus the fact we are now 5 weeks past our initial planned start date) we have decided not to keep everything on hold and will issue FULL refunds to all registrants.

Please note that as refunds are processed, they could take up to 2-3 weeks for registrants to see the funds returned to their card.

Once Soccer programming is allowed, we shall create new events with much smaller groups and the flexibility of different times / days and on different fields, and follow all guidelines regarding player safety.

If the Cascadia league schedule is up and running we shall create a new team registration for those who still wish to play
