COVID-19 Update

EDIT: CLICK HERE TO VISIT THE VAFC COVID-19 INFO PAGE

Dear VAFC family,

VAFC cares about the health and safety of all Club members, volunteers, coaches, and VAFC staff. We continue to closely monitor public health updates related to COVID-19, which has been classified as a pandemic by the World Health Organization.

VAFC follows the direction of Canada Soccer and BC Soccer regarding when we can re-commence programming. On April 15 BC Soccer issued this latest program update.

We cancelled our March spring camps and are presently issuing full refunds to all those who registered.

All of our spring programming is presently on hold and information updates have gone out to all registrants, regarding academy training, inhouse league and the Cascadia league. We remain’ hopeful that some form of programming will occur. However, this will be in a reduced format. All registrants will be notified by May 15 on how this may look.

If spring programming is cancelled, or registrants do not want reduced programming within new time lines, full refunds will be issued.

U11–U18 players will be receiving updates over the next few days in regard to team formation for the 2020/21 season

We ask for your patience as VAFC responds to all requests/refunds, we are managing a high volume of inquiries and have limited staff.

VAFC thanks you in advance for your understanding and patience during these unprecedented times.

Stay up-to-date with VAFC news, and when we’ll be resuming soccer, by following us on Facebook or Instagram, or by visiting news & events on our website.

Sincerely,

Darren Sherbot

President
