Volunteer With VAFC
As we, hopefully, approach the start of the 2020-2021 season VAFC is still looking for volunteers to fill a number of positions in the club.
Coaching – Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches
VAFC is always looking for more volunteer coaches. No soccer experience is required and training is provided, including BC Soccer coaching courses. Print-and-go practice plans have been created by our coaching staff to make your practice planning a breeze.
Board of Directors
At our upcoming AGM (date to TBA) we will be holding elections for the 2020-2021 VAFC Board of Directors. Joining the board gives you the chance to help shape the direction of the club.
Youth Leadership Volunteers (Grade 10-12)
Become a youth coach to support younger teams, or join our youth board members to help with club events, VAFC apparel sales, and to speak on behalf of youth. Email siobhan.jackson@shaw.ca to sign up!
As-Needed Volunteers
If you have some skills that you think could be of use to VAFC, but are not ready to make a season long commitment please email admin@vafc.ca with “Volunteer” in the subject line and a brief summary of how you’d like to help in the body of the email. We’ll keep your info on file and let you know when we need you.
